Image steganography based on SVD and DWT techniques

摘要
Steganography is an invisible communication. It embeds the secret details into cover to generate the stego information. A novel image steganography approach based on Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) and Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) is proposed. Firstly, secret and cover images are divided into sub bands using DWT. Most of the information is obtained in LL band. Hence, SVD performed on LL sub band of secret image to get three individual matrices U, S, and V. Add these individual matrices to LL band of the cover image to generate three stego images. The quality of the stego images are evaluated by image metrics like PSNR, SC etc., the proposed algorithm gives best results compared with existing algorithms.
