摘要：
This special issue is devoted to a comprehensive cross section of current trends on the applications of phase space optics (PSO). The contributed papers in this issue cover a wide range of applications. In a way, these papers show that PSO is leaving its infant state to become a versatile tool for pushing the boundaries of applied optics. (C) 2008 Optical Society of America.
