摘要：
This case report discusses an atypical presentation of anaplasmosis characterized by severe, potentially life-threatening thrombocytopenia. From the case and the ensuing discussion, medical professionals should appreciate the growing incidence of anaplasmosis across the country, as well as its potential to provoke profound hematologic disturbances in humans.
