摘要
Rare Earth phosphate powders (REPO4, RE = La, Ce and Y) were synthesized from rare earth chloride hydrate and phosphoric acid in aqueous media. The composition, thermal behavior and structural changes have been analyzed using several techniques such as X-ray diffractometry (XRD), differential thermal analysis/ thermogravimetric analysis (DTA/TGA), Infrared and Raman spectroscopy. The composition, the initial morphology and the structural modifications of powders influence the sintering behavior of the different rare earth phosphates.
