摘要
B2O3-Bi2O3-SiO2-ZnO glass modified Li2MgTi3O8 (BBSZ-LMT) ceramics were fabricated via a solid estate reaction route. Pure phases and dense crystal morphology were obtained. Experimental results indicated that the BBSZ glass can not only lower the sintering temperature of the LMT ceramic to 950 degrees C, but also promote its densification and grain growth, which was beneficial for the enhanced microwave dielectric performance. Among all the BBSZ modified LMT samples, the 2 wt.% of BBSZ doped LMT ceramic (marked as LB3 in this article) possessed good microwave dielectric properties: epsilon(r) = 27.1, Q x f = 16,000 GHz (7.95 GHz), tau(f) = (-)1.3 ppm/degrees C. It is suggested that the BBSZ glass is an effective additive for LMT ceramic as a suitable candidate for LTCC applications in microwave devices. (C) 2015 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
