User Cooperative Mobility with Optimal Node Selection for High Throughput in Multiple Ad-Hoc Networks

摘要
In this paper, we propose a user cooperative mobility method for high throughput in dense multiple Ad-Hoc networks. The proposed method consists of two sub-methods; Direct Method moves a bottleneck node and Indirect Method moves one of the upper stream nodes than the bottleneck node. The proposed two sub-methods are used according to network situations. We analyze which node is the most effective for moving and how far the node should move. With investigating factors that are related to improving throughput, we result in settling a strategy of method selection to improve throughput effectively. Performance evaluation results show that throughput improves 31.6% with Direct Method and by 10.1% with Indirect Method, compared with that with no mobility.
