摘要
With the recent increase of the leisure activities and the shift to the highly aged society as the background, there is the increasing interest to various sports, preservation of physical fitness and promotion of health. We have proposed an evaluation of physical exercise ability in sports training and related fields using human limb impedance. The measurement method of impedance uses the four-electrode technique based on constant current (50 kHz, 500 muA). This method uses a human body itself as a part of the sensor. We also proposed a principle of detection of physical exercise based on correspondence of magnitude, form and stability of movement to impedance waveform. We mainly use impedance data from the impedance measuring device, and by the type of the exercise as a purpose, other supplemental sensors are used. We showed two applications that are gait evaluation and agility evaluation using bar-gripping test.
