Ophthalmology journals and publications in the Internet

The presence of ophthalmological journals in the WWW is already very extensive. However, the online presence of these journals and publishing houses are qualitatively and quantitatively very different. On line publications offer many advantages in contrast to conventional publications, as for example low manufacture-expenses and speedy, place - and time-independent availability of information. We assume, that online publications will not replace print-publications, but represents a meaningful supplement of the previous offer of information. © Springer-Verlag.
