摘要
A spectrum analyzer with tracking generator and transmitting/receiving probes is utilized to predict shielding effectiveness of conductive thermoplastic materials. Molded parts of a qualified material and specimens of candidate materials are passed through an electromagnetic field and the reduction in field intensity is measured for each. Correlation between qualified parts and candidate specimens can be made thereby giving material suppliers the ability to predict shielding effectiveness of materials.
