摘要：
Thus Letter shows that a single multipartite entangled mixed state in a multipartite system with dimension 2 circle times 2 circle times (...) circle times 2 cannot be purified to an entangled pure state under local manipulation. In general, a generic multipartite entangled mixed state cannot be purified. For a class of entangled mixed states, the fidelity can never be increased. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V.
