摘要
Both revealed and stated preference survey were carried out to investigate public transportation modes choice of recreational tourists in Pearl River Delta which has highly developed transit network. It is found that travel time, number of transfers, fare and comfortableness are the four major factors to affect the modal choice. The multinomial logit model is built to describe the choice behaviors; and the parameters are estimated by the maximum likelihood method. Sensitivity analysis are performed to find the key factors that should be improved in the transportation integration. Analysis indicates that most of recreationists prefer to a fast and comfortable transportation mode, and finally suggestions to improve recreational transportation services are proposed.
