摘要
Microgrid has become a preferred choice over traditional power systems, due to its simplicity and provides the opportunity to integrate Renewable Energy Sources (RES) that is intrinsically at higher efficiency. The implementation of a hybrid micro grid solution is proposed to the BEL Bengaluru Campus, to improve the quality of power by bringing environmentally safe, affordable, and reliable energy solutions for sustainable growth. The purpose of this work is to develop a complete model of Microgrid and realization of load control program to ensure stability when Hybrid Energy Storage System (HESS) feeds sensitive/critical load. The modelling and development of the BEL power system is achieved with the help of the MATLAB software. The results of the case study employing the hybrid ESS have been presented to establish the effectiveness of the proposed sizing strategy.
