摘要
In this paper, the authors describe the development and application of a model that aims to determine the complexity year, major projects in industrial design. Existing models from the engineering field are discussed and their focus and of final-year, particular advantages are clarified. The need for a model of this type is explained and the rationale behind the authors' model is presented. The model was applied to establish the complexity of 30 design projects, produced by a cohort of students in 2003, and 30 projects from a cohort in 2004. The results obtained from the use of this model are presented and the implications discussed in the paper.
