摘要
A method of determining the alkaline reserve left in a paper after deacidification treatment was investigated. The paper samples measuring 6x1cm were conditioned for 2 days and were deacidified for 5 minutes using methanolic solutions of methyl-methoxymagnesium carbonate (MMMC) in different concentrations. The amount of created alkaline reserve was found to be proportional to the concentration of the solutions. The end-of-titration pH value in the range of alkaline reserve- AR1-3 was the same for various ARs.
