Single-crystalline thick films of (YBi)(3)Fe5O12 (BIG), (TbBi)(3)(FeAlGa)(5)O-12 (TbIG), (EuBi)(3) (FeAlGa)(5)O-12 (EuIG), and (EuTbBi)(3)(FeAlGa)(5)O-12 (EuTbIG) garnet single-crystal thick films were grown on (GdCa)(3)(GaMgZr)(5)O-12 (SGGG) substrates by using liquid phase epitaxy (LPE). At all growth thicknesses, almost constant levels of Fe, Tb, Eu, Ga, and Al were detected. The magnetic domain of the BIG film could not be observed, but we were able to observe the existence of a single magnetic domain structure in the TbIG film. The magnetic domain structures of the EuIG and EuTbIG films were found to have multi-magnetic-domain structure. The crystallinity of the EuTbIG film was better than those of the other films.
