摘要
The purpose of the present work was to investigate in a point-plane electrode assembly the processes of corona discharge in air as a function of gas pressure (P < 10 MPa) and point radius (1-20 mu m). We produce results obtained by using fast techniques of electrical and optical phenomena recording. An analysis of the results is done on the basis of Townsend criterion for a self-sustaining discharge and of a formal analysis of the current pulse regime. The evolution of the discharge parameters as a function of density is given and discussed.
