摘要
Experimental measurements of velocity field have been performed in the near wake of a scaled wind turbine with 0.350 m of rotor diameter by using Particle Image Velocimetry in a wind tunnel. Measurements have been carried out for two tip speed ratios 6.76 and 9.91. Numerical simulation of the flow field around the same wind turbine is also studied. The two turbulence models k-epsilon and k-omega SST have been considered. The wind turbine rotor is modelled with the actuator disc approach coupled with the blade element momentum theory.. Experimental measurements have been compared to the numerical simulation results and good agreements have been obtained for the outer half of the near wake.
