Innovative Approaches to Economic Development of The Regions of Ukraine

Economic development of the regions of Ukraine can be ensured by systematically improved qualitative characteristics of the main economic indicators, such as the gross regional product per person of the present population, the share of the population occupied in economic activity within the present population, and so on, as a result of effective management. The study and generalization of the methodological procedure have proved that there is no single methodological approach to assess the economic situation in the regions of Ukraine, with the results analysis providing adequate information basis for taking reasonable managerial decisions regarding sustainable economic development. To develop the innovative approach to manage economic development of the regions of Ukraine while analyzing the results of the assessment of the state of regional economies, providing the definition and evaluation of economic development general indicators over the years of the investigated period and through the regions of Ukraine. Analysis and synthesis methods are used to generalize particular indicators into the integral ones, to analyze the obtained results, to research the dynamics of particular indicators in order to form an adequate informational base to rationale the managerial decisions. The authors proposed the innovative methodological approach to manage the economic development of the regions of Ukraine, which is based on forming the informational base for taking reasonable managerial decisions, with the difference from existing ones being in applying the basic economic indicators by quantitative and qualitative characteristics, their generalization in integral indicators by years and regions, development of intervals to estimate the integral indicators with a certain probability of getting into a particular estimation interval, analysis of the obtained results.
