摘要
Cement manufacturing process can be carried out in various ways, differing in heat (fuel), electric energy and natural material resources consumption. The cement manufacturing process itself is accompanied by the emission of various substances into the environment and being accompanied be physical phenomena that have a negative impact on the environment in forms of dust, hazardous and toxic gases, metal compounds, organic substances, etc. The largest volume of pollutants is being emitted in the calcinations stage of Portland cement clinker. When selecting indicators characterizing the process itself and its impact on the environment, it is proposed to use two types of markers. These markers are indicators of technological efficiency of manufacturing process, including certain general data on the cement production process, which have a significant impact on the environment. The markers are also substances or physical phenomena that result in cement manufacturing process, emitted in the environment thus causing significant hazardous impact on the environment and human health. The report provides relevant reasons for a selection of markers and suggests certain proposals for their inspections intervals.
