Waste recycling information management system for industrial waste

摘要
To consider waste recycling, it is important to get the information as to what kind of waste will be discharged and when, where and how much the waste will be discharged, in accompany with the information that where the waste is accepted to utilize, and when and how much the waste is acceptable. In the case of industrial waste, the information of the properties and content is difficult to get, therefore, waste recycling of these is very difficult. Our center has developed the waste recycling information management system that consists of collection and offer system for the regional government on a nationwide level and has organized the trial activities for the system. In charge is the commission of Industrial Waste Management Office, Ministry of Health and Welfare. Contents of the trial activities are as follows: 1) Waste recycling information management system using personal computer has been developed to manage the information; 2) Newsletter has been printed out by the system, published and distributed to each regional government every year; 3) Exchange of information using floppy disk has been operated between one of the regional government and our center; and 4) Operation measures and future strategy for waste recycling information management system has been investigated. Contents of the information are as follows; 1) Information for trading of waste recycling: To promote waste recycling by notification for the information of request waste acceptance or waste offer as raw material; 2) Information for trading results of waste recycling: To promote waste recycling by notification for the information of trading results and examples to show the possibilities of performance for trading; and 3) Information for technology of waste recycling: To promote waste recycling by notification for the information of waste recycling technology to utilize same type of waste by business enterprise and disposal agent. This paper discusses the following subjects: 1) Promotion of waste recycling, 2) Significance of utilization for waste recycling information, 3) History of waste information exchange system, 4) Problem of waste information exchange system? 5) Trial activities for waste recycling information management system, and 6) New strategy to promote waste recycling.
