The reaction time needed to synthesize substituted 2-amino-4-phenyl-thiazolc was substantially reduced from hours to minutes by means of microwave irradiation. Microwave assisted techniques have many advantages, i.e., very rapid reactions, low energy consumption and safe operation, high yield and less time.
