摘要：
The terms "extended enterprise" and "virtual enterprise" have been used in articulating the 21(st) century global manufacturing enterprise strategy. One of the key requirements is to develop an Information System (IS) infrastructure to control the interoperability of the distributed, heterogeneous and concurrent systems in the participating organizations. This article presents an innovative IS infrastructure to help describing global information technology support for these inter-organizational enterprises with the background of modern information and communication technology. Three types of technology are focused on: Data warehouse, Process warehouse and Intranet/Extranet.
