摘要
The west Kunlun mountain, located to the northwest Qinghai-Tibet plateau and to the southwest Tarim basin, is just situated between the ancient Asian structural field and the Tethyan structural field. It is an important composing part of giant structural zone of middle China nearly east-west trending (the Kunlun-Qilian-Qinling structural zone, which can be also called as the central orogenic zone). There are a lot of ore-forming zones passing through the west Kunlun mountain such as the Kunlun-Qilian-Qinling ore-forming zone, three river ore-forming zone and middle Asia ore-forming zone et al. The geological conditions of many ore-forming zones including the stratum, the structure and magma activities have indicated that there is a good environment for the ore formation. Many types of ore deposits such as the Tamu lead-zinc deposit, the Kalangu lead-zinc deposit, the Kalama copper deposit, the Kekuxilik Pb-Zn deposit, the Huangyangling Sb deposit, the Heiqia Fe deposit and Sazigou copper deposit have been discovered-in the. west Kunlun area, and these ore deposits (or places) distributed along the ore-forming belts, which can be further divided into seven sub-metallogenic belts and eighteen mineralization places. The west Kunlun mountain is one of the best regions for finding out large and superlarge scale of ore deposits in China.
