摘要
A method is proposed for calculating the thermal regime of polyacrylonitrile fibers in a carbonization furnace. The method makes it possible to optimize the design elements of high-temperature furnaces with allowance for the set of technical, technological, and service requirements. The method is based on the solution of the energy equation for a fibrous material in a carbonization furnace and the heatconduction equation for the furnace design. The latter equation is written in a two-dimensional formulation and includes the internal heat sources. The energy and heat-conduction equations are solved to determine the temperature regime for the treatment of the fibers. Results of calculations are presented for a carbonization furnace consisting of 7 temperature sections.
