The role of computer aided design, simulation and implementation software in teaching control engineering

摘要：
The introduction of Computer Aided Control System Design (CACSD) into the teaching of control engineering has provided the students to experience the complete cycle of system modeling, verification, design, implementation and testing. Students can use the CACSD software to verify hand solutions to most problems and to experiment with different or more complex system dynamics. The use of CACSD in teaching feedback control and how it impacts on assessment are also discussed.
