摘要
We report the synthesis of hollow carbon porous nanospheres (HCPNSs) by extending the Stober method to the preparation of core@two-polymeric-shells structured composite. In the one-pot assembly core was prepared by tetraethyl orthosilicate and two polymeric shells were prepared by phloroglucinolterephthalaldehyde and resol successively. The obtained composite was carbonized in N-2 flow to produce silica@carbon (Si@C) nanospheres whose specific surface area was 259 m(2) g(-1) and pore volume 0.7 cm(3) g(-1). HCPNSs with a diameter of ca. 20 nm were synthesized by etching the core (silica) of Si@C nanospheres, and had specific surface area of 477 m(2) g(-1) and pore volume of 1.1 cm(3) g(-1). HCPNSs were used as environmental adsorbents for high performance removal of bisphenol A with adsorption capacity of 203 mg g(-1). HCPNSs were highly stable during reusability experiment upto five cycles. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
