摘要
High-field magnetization process of Nd2Fe17 single crystal and interstitially modified single crystals Nd2Fe17H3 and Nd2Fe17N3 at 4.2 K has been investigated to clarify the in influence of interstitial H or N on basic magnetism. The second-order crystal electric field (CEF) coefficient A(2)(0) was estimated on a basis of the single-ion Hamiltonian, the value of which reaches up to - 1500 K/a(0)(2) at 4.2 K upon nitrogenation and is about three times larger than that for Nd2Fe17.
