摘要
In this paper free space microwave measurement setup has been integrated with the high temperature (HT) cell for the in-situ electromagnetic characterization. The experimental-setup is capable of operating in the frequency range from 5.85-40 GHz along with the in-situ material characterization from ambient to 1200 degrees C. In this present work, experiment has been carried out for X band (8.2-12.4GHz) frequency region. The measurement system has been integrated with the dedicated software, which interfaces with the vector network analyzer and the temperature controller. In order to validate the experimental set-up, measurement is performed for the standard samples, after that the material under test is evaluated for characterization. Here the proposed integrated set-up has been used for testing of ceramic samples which are quite often used for application in defence strategic products. The proposed integrated set-up is ideally suited for electromagnetic characterization of day to day routine samples as well as as for various industrial applications.
