摘要
Long spectrum spreading chip sequences are proposed in this paper to reduce ZigBee system bit error rate (BER) and improve anti-noise performance of the system. The direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) and offset quadrature phase shift keying (OQPSK) modulation wireless transceiver system in compliance with ZigBee regulation and its anti-noise performance in the additive white Gauss noise (AWGN) channel and Rayleigh channel have been studied. Experiments show that 32 yards long spread spectrum communication system BER can be reduced to 1/23 compared with 16 yards long spread spectrum communication system when signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is 6dB. In other words, the performance withstanding noise could be enhanced using long spectrum spreading chip sequences.
