摘要
The three-dimensional crystal plasticity finite element analysis of plastic deformation behavior of a single crystal copper (Cu) by nano forming is performed. In this paper, in order to investigate the effects of crystal orientation of the Cu specimen and shape of a knife-edge tool on the plastic deformation behavior, the nano forming to (001) and (110) crystal planes with two different tools is simulated. The obtained results clearly describe plastic slip deformation depending on the crystal orientation. Furthermore, the simulated crystal rotation during the nano forming is consistent with the previous experimental results. The present simulation model is quite useful to predict the plastic deformation behavior of a single crystal FCC material during the nano forming.
