Aryl, lipid and triterpenoid constituents from Oenothera biennis

摘要
In addition to oleanolic acid, maslinic acid, sitosterol, gallic acid, 2, 7, 8-trimethylellagic acid, tetramethylellagic acid, four new compounds isolated from the roots of Oenothera biennis have been characterized as 2-methyl-7-oxo-tritetracont-1, 5-dien-21-ol, 18-hydroxypentacos-21-en-1-oic acid, 5-methyl-27-oxo-triacont-4-en-24-ol and 3, 5-dihydroxy-4-pent-4'-enoyl-1'-oxymethylbenzoic acid by spectral data and chemical studies. Gallic acid has shown phytotoxicity and antifungal activity against Fusarium semitectum, F. fusiformis and Alternaria alternata.
