摘要
The existence of Super-GZK particles, cosmic rays above 10(20) eV, Was well established by the AGASA experiment. Recent data from AGASA strongly suggests the existence of compact sources, event clusters. These two pieces of experimental evidence seem to be contradictory to each other and are difficult to be explained by simple theoretical models. The origin of the highest energy cosmic rays became more mysterious with the increase of statistics. We will review the experimental results of AGASA and discuss the origin of the highest energy cosmic rays. The status of our future project telescope array is also reported.
