摘要
In this paper, we have proposed an estimation method that the damping properties of textile composites are obtained by finite element analysis. The proposed method has been applied to the plain woven fabric composites. Experiments have been conducted to evaluate the validity of the proposed method. It is recognized that the computational results have agreed with the experimental ones. Since an effect of angle of fiber bundle on material damping of plain woven fabric composites can be simulated, the material damping properties for various woven fabric composites will be estimated the effect of woven architecture. From these points of view, the proposed simulation method is very useful for the estimation of material damping characteristics for woven fabric composites.
