Minimal fuzzy logic controller. Design considerations and potential applications

摘要
Most existing control schemes developed with fizzy logic are using extensive memory, and processing power. This research is motivated by the need to reduce the computational and memory requirements of the fuzzy control algorithm in order to prepare the way for real-time implementations in dedicated hardware. A brief description of the design manner for minimal fuzzy PD controller regarding the fuzzification technique, the inference policy and deffuzification procedure is given. The potential of the new simplified controller is illustrated by simulation results The study is made using computer simulation in a LabView environment.
