摘要
The observation and measurement of the anatomical structure of leaves and fruits during early fruit development in Ziziphus jujuba 'Jingzao 39' were conducted by making paraffin slices. The results showed that the size of upper epidermal cells was larger, while that of lower epidermal cells was smaller. The exocarp was composed of the cuticle, the epidermis, and the sub-epidermis from external to internal. The tightly packed smaller epidermal cells and the larger sub-epidermal cells could be distinguished easily, with in total 3-6 cell layers. The size of the mesocarp cells was larger than that of the exocarp cells.
