摘要：

Synthesis of new isoxazolyl 1,3-benzoxazines 4 have been accomplished from 4-amino-3-methyl-5-styrylisoxazole 1 by condensation with substituted salicylaldehydes, followed by reduction and subsequent smooth ring closure in the presence of formaldehyde. Novel methylene-bis-isoxazolyl 1,3-benzoxazines 7 have also been obtained from 1 by a similar synthetic sequence employing 5-5'-methylene-bis-salicyladehyde.
