STRUCTURAL IDENTIFICATION OF DAMAGED ANIME SANTE CHURCH USING AMBIENT VIBRATION, FORCED VIBRATION AND EARTHQUAKE ACTION

摘要
Anime Sante Church is an historical building of L'Aquila, it was built in 1713. The Church was stricken and damaged by earthquake's mainshock of April 6, 2009. This paper presents the procedure for the structural identification using different vibration testing with stationary signal and with transient. Ambient vibrations, seismic events and impact force tests were used to measure the dynamical properties of the Church. The vibrations of all dynamic testing were recorded and the identified modal parameters were used to calibrate a FE model of the structure. The correlation between the experimental and numerical results validates the kind of monitoring. As a matter of fact, the use of multiple modes of excitation optimizes the results and improving the calibration of the FE model.
