摘要
There are various modulation techniques used for multilevel inverters (MLI) among all space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) technique is superior. Here a new modified space vector algorithm is proposed for any n-level MLI. The proposed algorithm for multilevel inverter depends on conventional two level approach. In this algorithm switching sequence and location of reference vector is chosen with the aim of reducing total harmonics distortion (THD) than the algorithms used before. A five level cascaded MLI is used to implement the proposed space vector algorithm. Simulation results have been provided to check the feasibility of the proposed algorithm. The results are compared with the results of 5- level MLI using existing algorithm to show the better performance of proposed algorithm by using MATLAB/iSIMULINK.
