摘要
The 21st century saw the advent of Visible Light Communication (VLC) networks. Li-Fi is a fully networked wireless communication technology and is a subset of Optical Wireless Communication (OWC). It is a bidirectional, high speed network, which could be a supplement to Wi-Fi networks or even a possible replacement. The proposed concept of Voice over Li-Fi network, hypothesizes the use of an unprecedented wave, hybrid in nature. This wave possesses the ability of transmitting Digital and Analog data over Light in parallel. The wave would comprise of the analog component of sound, as well as the digital component of bits. Digital data would be transmitted without loss and analog data transmission would be lossy. This VoLF system has the potential to supersede most analog and digital networks.
