摘要
A cm-sized robot for 5 DOF micromanipulation is presented for the first time. The main component in the robot is a six-legged monolithic piezoceramic unit suitable for large-scale production. The mechanical walking mechanism with solid multilayer piezoactuators makes it possible to get both functionality and high precision. Milling in the ceramic green state give a highly integrated and flexible robot that can be fabricated from only a few components. Different driving mechanisms for positioning have been evaluated.
