The influence of waste paper quality on optical properties in the production of uncouted printing papers

摘要：
The optical properties of waste paper based printing papers are depending on the quality of available resources. The requirements for wastepaper based SC paper and newsprint do not vary to those for SC paper and newsprint based on virgin fibres. The use of optimum technologies for flotation and bleaching is an important prerequisite to achieve the necessary quality improvement Using existing results from laboratory work and mill practice will lead to a successful implementation. On the other hand the cost for better technology and new machinery will exceed those spend in the past by far.
