摘要
This paper studies 3 fault tolerant shunt three phase active filter topologies. It mainly details converter reconfiguration and uses an optimised fast and reliable fault diagnosis method, avoiding spurious semiconductor fault detection due to semiconductor switching. The fault tolerant converter topologies are based on classical three-leg active power filter topology but includes bi-directional switches for converter reconfiguration after fault detection. The power filter structure, after reconfiguration, could either be a three-leg or a two-leg topology. An unique control is applied before and after fault detection, which avoids any controller reconfiguration. Simulation results obtained with Saber CAD tools validate the theoretical study.
