摘要
It seems reasonable to think that a sessile drop, in an atmosphere saturated in the vapor of the liquid in question, will remain at equilibrium (and therefore not evaporate). However, meniscus curvature is an ingredient in equilibrium vapor pressure, and the former depends on height, albeit very weakly for small drops, due to hydrostatic pressure. Possible consequences in the context of (very slow) evaporation or condensation are discussed.
