摘要
Optical label switch routing on a 600 km optical transport network including 3R (reshaping, retiming, regenerating) transponders has been successfully demonstrated by using digitally encoded sub-carrier modulation (SCM) labels. Satisfactory optical routing operation and end-to-end transparency of SCM labels at nodes with opaque optical elements was confirmed.
