摘要
Since April 2012, fish have been counted at the new Rheinfelden power plant at the fish passage structure and spawning area site on the weir side, as well as on the vertical slot fish pass on the power plant side. Now, the results of the count from the first Seven months have been evaluated. he figure are impressive, and far exceed expectations in many respects. Overall,40 000 fish and 33 species were logged. Salmon was again sighted in the Rhine at Rheinfelden for the first time since the 1950s. During the count, whitefish were also found in this region of the Rhine for the first time. Future counts will show whether the salmon and whitefish will remain permanently.
