摘要
In this paper, Monarch Butterfly Optimization Algorithm (MBO) based on migration behavior has been proposed to find best optimal values of PID parameters for the AVR system. This paper describes in detail how to apply the MBO algorithm for proper tuning of the PID controller parameters with objective function as Integral Square Error (ISE). In the simulation results, step response of proposed AVR system compared with Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Many Optimizing Liaisons (MOL), Chaotic PSO (CPSO), Chaotic Ant Swarm (CAS), optimization techniques in terms of settling time and peak amplitude and also check the performance indices in terms of ITAE, IAE, ISE functions.
