Therapy of an endobronchial neoplasm in an Arabian mare

摘要：
Tumours and neoplasm of the respiratory system are rare in horses. In the few cases they are usually an indication for the patients euthanasia. Minimalinvasiv surgery offers a better possibility for treatment of these seldom cases. In present study the transendoscopic exzision of an endobronchial neoplasm in an Arabian mare is described. The mass was removed using electro surgery in general anaesthesia. The ground was coagulated transendoscopical by holmium-YAG-laser No postsurgical complications were noted. Signs of recurrence did not occur.
