Improved directed diffusion routing in wireless sensor networks based on session initial protocol

摘要
Due to severely constrained energy, storage capacity and computing power for nodes in wireless sensor network, the routing protocols have become a hot research topic. An improved directed diffusion Based on Session Initial Protocol (IDDSIP) is presented. The query and response processes use application layer Session initial protocol methods: SUBSCRIBE and NOTIFY. Routing information is established in the above messages process. Once a subscription is successful, the redundant nodes that are not in route paths transform into sleep state to save energy. IDDSIP strengthens the nodes authentication and authorization. Simulating results show that the it has good performances in energy consuming without leading to too much delay comparing with existing directed diffusion algorithms.
