摘要
Urban land use is an inevitable trend in city development. This paper firstly defines the concept of intensive land use,and then gives analysis to the condition of urban intensive land of Harbin between 2000 and 2011 from the perspective of economic benefits, social benefits and ecological benefits. It comes to a conclusion that the land use of Harbin in recent 10 years is more and more intensive. According to Michael Porter's city developing stage theory, combined with the situation of intensive land use of Harbin,this paper analyses that the stage of city development nowadays is still in the investment driven period. Thus,it suggests that the orientation of development in Harbin should be changed to innovation driven type. In the end,it puts forward a path for Harbin to achieve its innovative development.
