Analysis on theTechnology Innovation Efficiency and Its Influencing Factors of Chinese High-tech Industry

摘要
This paper uses stochastic frontier model to measure the technology innovation efficiency and influencing factors of high-tech industry in 28 regions in mainland China from 2010 to 2016. The results show that the technology innovation efficiency of Chinese high-tech industry is low, showing a state of fluctuation, and the efficiency of the invention patents authorization as output is higher than that of new product sales as output. There is a positive correlation between the scale of enterprises, the degree of market competition and technology innovation efficiency. There is a negative correlation between the government intervention and technology innovation efficiency. The proportion of the state-owned economy is negatively related to the efficiency of the patents as output, but is positively related to the efficiency of new product sales as output.
